![]() I walked through the train station and out the door in the direction I hoped was the right one. I couldn’t see, I could just feel through the fresh air. I arrived late, the sun had set and my night blindness was in full affect. I finally felt complete in Santiago, packed my backpack, flew into Madrid changed out my clothes and got on a train towards France. After the roller coaster I had put him on, he wasn’t sure if he could trust my words. He said he would wait around the area and cross his fingers for my arrival. ![]() We exchanged emails in Spain and I told him when and where my train would come in. There was so much confusion scrambling around in my mind, I stayed put in Santiago and just waited for days before making a flight to meet him. He had landed and I was out of pocket trying to figure out my life and next steps after the game changer of the Camino. I had broken up with him over the 32 days I was on my pilgrimage through the Northern part of Spain and we were to reunite for two weeks in one of the most romantic cities on the planet, Paris. After walking the Camino de Santiago, I was to meet Justin in Paris.
